From Friday sunset to Saturday sunset each week, we pause taking orders. Not because we're unavailable, but because Sabbath is a gift.
The Bible sets Saturday apart as a day of rest and worship, going all the way back to creation: "On the seventh day God rested from all his work… God blessed the seventh day and made it holy" (Genesis 2:2-3). It's one of the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:8-11): a weekly invitation to step back from work, reconnect with God, rest, and be renewed. That's exactly what lifestyle medicine is about too: whole-person health, not just food.
